HOUSEKEEPER/DISHWASHER, Cree Territory (Outside communities)
DURATION: SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT
Under the supervision of the Head Cook, the Housekeeper/Dishwasher performs housekeeping duties in accordance to the established and agreed guidelines and processes. He/She is responsible for assisting the Camp Manager and Head Cook in providing excellent customer service to the clients. At all times, they should possess a behavior that will help maintain a healthy work environment conducive to teamwork and trust.
Provide all clients with excellent and proactive customer service at all times.
Sweep, mop and wash floors, including dusting of furniture.
Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
Attend to guests requests for extra supplies.
Stock linen closet and supplies area.
Clean and disinfect changing rooms, showers and washrooms.
Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Report and store lost and found items.
May provide basic information on facilities.
May handle complaints.
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand.
Place dishes in storage area.
Scour pots and pans.
Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen fixtures and appliances.
Maintains the kitchen and guest rooms, including washrooms, in an impeccable condition.
Contribute to continuing improvement of working method and processes, to ensure operational efficiency, by proposing improvement to the Camp Manager or by collaborating to projects.
Work with the team to develop and provide and excellent customer service.
Perform any other assigned responsibilities, to allow Osprey to meet its service offering and to achieve its objectives or to solve problems which may arise.
