TITLE: INSIDE/OUTSIDE SALES DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR FOR ACE HARDWARE

The Inside/Outside Sales Department Supervisor, under the direction of the Trainer & the President of the Company, will be responsible for leading and managing associates involved with activities in the front and back end of the store, which include check-out areas, returns, special services, computer systems, and receiving. They are also responsible for managing the receiving, unloading, distribution, and stocking of merchandise in the store. Creating partnerships with outside entities and making service calls. Responsible for generating customer orders and ensure timely delivery.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for ensuring the store is recovered and ready for business every day
 Develop the weekly work schedule
 Invest in people to focus on B2B customers
 Maintain record keeping accurately
 Account maintenance for B2B customers
 Manage B2B statements and collections
 Ensure that open/close procedures are followed
 Ensure that daily inventory management tasks are completed:
 Stocked
 Zero outs
 Rain Checks
 Special Orders
 Cycle Counting
 Resolve customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner
 Make sure the sales floor is clear, organized, and properly signed, and that the receiving floor is clear of pallets and trash
 Responsible for training all associates on store policies and procedures
 Cultivate staff commitment to B2B through inspired leadership
 Delegate daily workload among associates
 Enforces safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
